Adria Marinus 🔱

Twisted from King Triton, Adria Marinus is a student in the Octavinelle Dormitory and is infamous for his temper and pride. Which is rather humorous, considering how he is just one of Azul's lackies now. Azul Ashengrotto wishes to "convince" Adria to enter into a contract with him no matter what, considering Adria's noble bloodline and powerful magical and physical skills. One could say that they're almost wasted on a merman like Adria with how his personality is.
Despite how intimidating the merman can be, he can be incredibly selfless and protective over those he cares about. His opinion on land and humans is low. But as his days at NRC continue, Adria finds that his beliefs are beginning to waver.

Yuu Amane 🌼

Yuu Amane is the magic-less Headwarden of the Ramshackle Dormitory. Considering how mundane their world is compared to the marvels of Twisted Wonderland, Yuu is excited to explore even more in this world. They wanted to go back home no matter what, that was until they remembered the circumstances of why they were brought to Twisted Wonderland. That being their death in their original world.
With this and the discovery that their life force is now entangled with their familiar, Grim's, Yuu wishes to find a way to sever this tie so they could live their new life to the fullest.

Claudiu Bane 👻

Twisted from Aurora's sleeping curse, Claudiu Bane is from the mysterious Bane family who reside in Briar Valley. Not too many students know him but they certainly talk about him often. Though this is mainly in the form of rumors of a new haunting or school legend, as many mistake Claudiu as a ghost with his appearance and mannerisms.
In actuality, Claudiu is just a fae who wants to make new friends. One could even say that his prodigious skills in magic make his attendance to Night Raven a waste of time, even though he is in the prestigious Diasomnia Dormitory. But alas, there is no spell that can cure lonliness.

Xiangying Shen 🦅

Twisted from Shan Yu, Xiangying Shen hails from a humble village in the steppes of Twisted Wonderland. He is currently the only person who is able to use magic, and so was considered as a blessing. But Xiangying felt like he was destined for much greater, despite all of the prestige he had in his village.
Xiangying is attending Night Raven College through their cultural exchange program and is a student in the Ramshackle Dormitory at present. While the dormitory is quaint, Xiangying wishes to stay. The comforts of home are something only a fool would run away from.

Horatio Bastion 🦀

Twisted from Sebastian, Horatio Bastion is currently a student attending the prestigious Royal Sword Academy and is tasked with keeping watch over Prince Rielle. The Bastion Family were formerly advisors for the Coral Sea's royal family but fell out of favor in the past century with the changing tides. Thankfully, Horatio has no interest in politics and is more occupied with his musical career.
Adria Marinus discovered the crab merman when he was just performing songs at a small pub, and immediately hired him to work for the royal family. While Horatio and Adria couldn't be any more different, they will support each other no matter what.

Gula Monty 🦈

Twisted from Glut the shark, Gula Monty is a highschool student who isn't attending any of the presitgious magical academies in Twisted Wonderland. He has known Adria Marinus ever since he was a small-fry, and is partially why Adria is the merman he is today. Gula's father passed away when he and his sisters were just young pups, so he took responsibility over the household. Gula still works multiple part-time jobs to support his family, even with his mother being in a much better place mentally.
Adria and Gula have been good friends for years and will do anything for each other, with Adria even trying to help monetarily (which Gula declined) and Gula knowing about Adria's family situation.

Hermes Campos 🐠

Twisted from Herald the seahorse, Hermes Campos is a young merboy who is still in middleschool. His family is involved with ocean-land trade and so live on the surface, and so Hermes is one of the few mers living in the human-dominated area. Adria connected with such a background, and so took him under his fin. Though Adria's influence wasn't exactly the most positive, Hermes still looks up highly to his "older brothers" and wants to live up to their examples. Just don't make fun of him for his swimming speed and/or height!

Blaine Malachite 🌟

Twisted from the trident, Blaine Malachite is a merman who usually keeps to himself. He is the type to go with the flow if he finds it interesting. Despite his demeanor, Blaine still cares deeply and just isn't the type to display his emotions openly. His Unique Magic is able to amplify anyone he applies it to in fields of magic, strength, speed, etc., so many seek him out in order to use it for themselves. Thankfully Adria and Gula were able to save Blaine when he was being used by a small gang during their time in middleschool. They weren't interested in Blaine's Unique Magic however, and so Blaine decided to follow the two out of "interest".

Minerva Celimene 🦪

Twisted from Queen Athena and the original Little Mermaid, Minerva Celimene is a student in the Pomefiore Dormitory. Like Adria, she too is from a noble bloodline (albeit a minor household) and the two were actually close friends during their childhood. But her family has recently encountered hard times. Immediately they sought out to marry her off to a prestigious family in an attempt to regain their place in society, but Minerva refuses to marry for such purposes. She wishes to find her own path to fix her family's predicament.
But unexpectedly reuniting with her old childhood friend, Adria Marinus, has turned this goal into something even harder for her to achieve. Especially with her old feelings for her slowly but surely reigniting.
